Calverton Hall

Calverton Hall is located in South Arm. Piggery has performed in different venues over the past 26 years , however the main location has been at Calverton Hall. The very first Piggery performance, Fun 81, was performed here.

Calverton Hall has gone through a major upgrade since the first piggery performance thanks to the Calendar Girls of South Arm who raised an extravigant amount of money with the sale of their naked granny calendar. The profits from the sale of the calendar went to upgrading the hall. Thanks to the Calendar Girls the hall now has a change room which means the piggery cast members don't have to change in tents set up out the back of the hall anymore!!!

Piggery begins

You know that it's Piggery season when you see this sign nailed to the telegraph pole along the neck in South Arm. It means different things to many people. To locals who watch the show, it means hurry up and get your tickets Piggery is around the corner. To people who have never been to a Piggery show and have not heard of the event, this sign is often mistaken for advertising for a pig farm!! And to the cast and crew it's a mixture of excitement and nerves! Posted by Picasa
